At 55 years of age, the reminiscing and reflecting on the last 50 odd years, of the places we’ve seen, the people we’ve met and the adventures we’ve experienced are getting increasingly more difficult to remember with any clarity…. The dates and times are scrambled with the people and places:- Although it has made dinner conversations/arguments interesting, with the banter of who did what with who on what holiday/trip/outing in which year. It has made me realize that as my husband and I embark on those “twilight” years, fulfilling our dreams and inspirations for the next stages of our life…….. I don’t want to miss a moment!

So! What better way to document, as well as share our Luvn2wander experiences, both past, and future than creating a blog?

For my inaugural “Where we Wandered” post, I’ve chosen an easy one! No long term memory brain cells needed for this one! We have just returned from a 3-week trip, exploring VIETNAM and what an absolutely fascinating country this is! We packed a fair bit of wanderings into this 21 days, traveling from South to North, exploring some of its major cities, lived with the locals along the Mekong Delta. Well, sort of…… (the truth will come out later!), experienced some of this countries fascinating culture first hand, visited many of the historical sites of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, lazed on the beautiful beaches of Hoi An and Nha Trang, kayaked through limestone caves in Ha Long Bay and amazingly it doesn’t stop there……

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wander through …… VIETNAM?

We did! We loved the place! Details of our trip, some itinerary ideas, and pics of this beautiful country will be posted soon.
